This reading record is for students grades K-2. Reading records are beneficial to young readers because they allow children to feel a sense of accomplishment by keeping track of what they have read. They also help them learn to identify which book topics and authors they enjoy reading the most. If your child has trouble with hand-writing, have them tell you and you do the writing (act as scribe). Don’t let handwriting difficulty get in the way!

Caregivers can use this signature log to keep track of their child reading in 15 minute intervals at a time. Once the signature log is complete, your child will earn a point to go toward a prize of their choice.
